LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Jacksonville State volleyball team lost Friday evening at New Mexico State in three sets.
The Aggies (15-12, 9-6) defeated the Gamecocks (8-20, 1-14) 25-11, 25-11, 25-14. Jax State accumulated 27 kills, 25 digs, 22 assists, and three blocks against NMSU.
Ellie Garrett had double-digit assists with 17. She also had a kill and two digs.
Brooklyn Schiffli had a team-best seven digs.
Kayla Williams led the Gamecocks with nine kills. Williams also added four digs, respectively.
Katelyn Crofts had seven kills and
Sanni Rantanen had six kills.
The Gamecocks and Aggies will face one another again on Saturday at 1 p.m. The match will not be streaming on ESPN+ but live stats will be available at JaxStateSports.com.
