RENO, Nev.—A total of seven bowlers that have been part of or will be part of the Jax State bowling program qualified to represent Team USA during the 2025 Team USA Trials during competition after 30 games over five days.
Crystal Elliot, who helped the Gamecocks win the 2024 NCAA National Championship was the champion of the event and was the 2024 Professional Women's Bowling Association Rookie of the Year became the first person to win Team Trials after winning U.S. Amateur the prior year.
Class of 2025 signee Gianna Brandolino of Channahon, Illinois and former Gamecock
Maranda Pattison picked up two of the other three automatic spots for Team USA. Sophomore
Annalise OBryant was awarded a spot on the Team USA roster based on her ranking at the trials.
Brandolino and OBryant earned automatic spots on Junior Team USA and will be joined by freshman
Erin Klemencic who was chosen by the National Selection Committee. Additionally, 2025 signee Katelyn Stull, freshman
Melia Mitskavich, and sophomore
Dannielle Henderson will also be part of Junior Team USA through the 2024 Junior Gold Championship in U18 competition and U22 Queens, respectively.
Bowlers that are age 20 or younger as of January 1
st were eligible for Junior Team USA.
