TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Gamecocks men's tennis is in action in the ITA Regionals hosted by the University of Alabama.
The event takes place this Thursday, Oct. 9, through next Tuesday, Oct. 14. The men's tennis squad has had a successful fall 2025 campaign and look to carry the momentum of last weekend's Mercer Gridiron Classic into the ITA Regionals.
At Mercer, the Gamecocks went 16-8 in singles and 9-4 in doubles over the three-day tournament. The tournament was highlighted by
Aman Dahiya and
Timo De Visser winning the Flight B doubles championship on Sunday. Dahiya also won the singles title in Flight B1.
David Krasner and
Lucius Soller made their respective singles flight championship matches. Due to weather conditions, Soller and Krasner were unable to finish their matches on Sunday afternoon.
In the Samford Invitational on Sep. 26 through Sep. 28, the Gamecocks went 9-2 in doubles. Dahiya and De Visser shined at Samford as well with a 3-0 record against Alabama State, UAB, and Samford.
In singles at Samford, Krasner, De Visser, and Dahiya all went 3-0 in matches against UAB, Samford, and Alabama State. Soller also was undefeated with a 2-0 singles record against Samford and Alabama State.
