Gamecock track and field posted quality marks at both the Bulldog Alumni Relays at Mississippi State and the Yellow Jacket Invitational at Georgia Tech.

"Our starting point is the highest it has been in a long time," said coach
Jeremy Provence. "This was a solid weekend for the group, highlighted by the performance of our pole vaulters."

Kayley Stanley cleared 3.95 meters to win the Pole Vault at Mississippi State for a new program record, and
Lennon Ibsen tied for second at 3.85 meters.

Hailey Tucker put together a solid day in Starkville by taking second in the 400 Meter Hurdles in 1:00.36 and was sixth in the 400 Meter Dash in a time of 56.3.

Cayla Johnson competed in four events, highlighted by a third-place finish in the High Jump by clearing 1.65 meters on her third attempt. She was 11
th in the 100 Meter Hurdles in 14.92 seconds, placed 20
th in the Javelin with a best mark of 26.08 meters, and ran a 27.03 200 Meter Dash for 39
th.

Uduak Pius Udosoh took eighth in the 200 Meters in 24.36 and 13
th in the 100 Meters in 11.98 seconds.

Emma Drinkard was 21
st in the 100 Meters in 12.28, and 19
th in the 200 in 25.12.
Kailey Lett was 23
rd in the 100 in 12.43 and 27
th in the 200 in 25.9.
Amber Bailey was 26
th in the 200 with a time of 25.7, and
Chanel Rutledge took 31
st in 26.18. Bailey was 20
th in the 400 in 1:00.

Chaci Whitfield was 14
th in the 100 Hurdles with a time of 15.54, followed by Rutledge in 17
th at 16.04, and
Sky White 21
st in 16.64. Whitfield added an eighth-place finish in the 400 Hurdles in 1:08.22, followed by
Sara Mobayed Caballe in 14
th in 1:16.16.

White was fourth in the Long Jump with a best mark of 5.52 meters. Mobayed Caballe was 14
th with a mark of 4.99 meters.

Jadyn Bonds was fourth in the High Jump, clearing 1.6 meters on her first attempt and took 12
th in the Javelin with a best mark of 35.84 meters.

At Georgia Tech, the men's 5,000 Meter group had three athletes post sub-15:00 times, led by Mark Roper in eighth place with a time of 14:23.68. Jack Lowe was 10
th in 14:25 and Rodrigo Fraga Odirozola was 21
st in 14:55.

"The men had a very successful meet," said Provence. "Big congratulations to Mark for setting the school record and hitting the European U20 standard. Mark and Jack ran a fantastic race in the first heat resulting in two big PRs."
