JACKSONVILLE—Jax State is the No. 1 overall seed in the 19-team National Collegiate Bowling Championship.
 
The defending champion Gamecocks will head to Arlington, Texas to play in a double-elimination, five-team bracket held at the National Training and Research Center. Jax State's first match will take place on Friday, April 4^th against either Belmont Abbey or Prairie View A&M.
 
With a win in their first match, Jax State would face either Sam Houston or Stephen F. Austin with the winner advancing to the championship. All seven matches of the bracket will be the mega match format except for the "if necessary" match on Saturday which will be a best-f-seven Baker format.
