MURFREESBORO - Jax State is set for its final team meet of the year this weekend at the Conference USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Murfreesboro, Tenn. beginning on Friday and running through Sunday. Jax State has posted several program best marks this season and looks to continue the trend this weekend on the big stage in The Volunteer State

Senior Trio Continue to Shine for Jax State
Kayley Stanley, Bethlehem Manzano Jimeno and Hailey Tucker each set program records in the Knights Invitational hosted by UCF towards the end of outdoor season.
 
Tucker also finished 0.01 seconds shy of the program record in 100m hurdle prelims on Friday before breaking the mark on Saturday.
 
Tucker and Jimeno continue their fantastic stretches. With her 14.00 time in the 100m hurdles, she now boasts the program best in both the 100m and 400m hurdle. Alongside her new 2:07.61 800m record, Jimeno also boasts the 1500m record set earlier this spring.
 
Stanley set her new mark in the pole vault, clearing a 4.07" margin. The pole vault has seen heavy improvements this season for Jax State, with the top three performers from this season holding slots one through three on the all-time list.

Jimeno Named CUSA Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Bethelhem Manzano Jimeno earned Jax State's first CUSA Outdoor Track & Field weekly award of the season, being named the Conference USA Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week following her performance at the Falcon Classic on March 14-15. Jimeno took first in the women's 800 meter-race clocking a time of 2:16.48. Her time marked the eighth best time in program history and a career second-best time in the event.

Gamecocks Close Historic Indoor Season
Jax State ended up setting five new program records in the indoor this spring, including the 400m, pole vault and 5000m. Alongside the five new program records, Jax State had 35 performances that landed on the program's top 10 list.
