JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –
Hailey Tucker and
Bethelhem Manzano Jimeno each qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East First Round in Jacksonville, Fla. On May 28-31. The pair each set program records this season in their respective events.
Tucker set a new 400m hurdle program record in this past weekend's CUSA Outdoor Track & Field Championship with a 58.30 time, taking home first in the qualifying round. Tucker had the 36
th best time out of any athlete in the East region.
Jimeno clocked the 46
th best time in the East to advance to the first round with a 4:18.24 time set at the Georgia Tech Invitational on April 19. Her time is also the best mark in Jax State's program history.
