JACKSONVILLE—Jake Tiffin has joined the Jax State men's golf coaching staff as a graduate assistant this fall.
 
Tiffin played collegiately at Troy all four years where he was among the team leaders in rounds under par. Following his collegiate career, he spent two years on the Emerald Coast Tour playing professionally.
 
"For me this is an opportunity that I could never turn down, having known Coach Robbie Fields and Coach Sylas Elliot since we were kids," said Tiffin. "To be able to work at the college level has always been a dream of mine and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to help bring more championships to Jax State." 
 
Additionally, Tiffin has worked at Hartselle High School where he graduated from as the boys and girls head golf coach the last two seasons.
 
We are extremely excited to Jake Tiffin as our graduate assistant," said coach Sylas Elliot. "He brings a lot of playing experience and knowledge to our men's program and is going to really help us further our development."
