Jax State tied for seventh at the Argent Financial Classic at Squire Creek Country Club.
The team finished with a 54-hole total of eight over par, starting the tournament by shooting even as a team, followed by a five-over round of 293 and a three-over round of 291 during Tuesday's final round.
Troy won the event by three shots over North Texas.
Ben Shedd and Raphael Turcaud were the top finishers in the lineup with a two-under total of 214 to tie for 12th. Shedd posted rounds of 71, 72, and 71. His 15 birdies were tied for fourth-most in the field. Turcaud came back from a one-over round of 73 on Sunday with a four-under round of 68 in round two before closing with a 73. He posted a bogey-free round on Monday and had an eagle on his second hole of the third round, posting a 23-hole span of six under without a bogey. Turcaud led the field in total pars with 40.
Will Drake was a shot back in a tie for 19th with rounds of 70, 73, and 72. The sophomore had an eagle on his second hole of the tournament to help post a two-under round on Sunday.
Joshua Gardner tied for 65th with a +13 total of 229 (74-80-75) and Cole Lindeman rounded out the lineup in 77th at +22 (75-81-82).
Just two fall tournaments remain for Jax State with the next beginning on October 12th at Moraine Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.
