The Jax State women's soccer team held strong in the first 45 minutes of their contest at No. 21 Mississippi State before a 3-0 loss in the Bulldogs' season opener.

Camdyn Magrosky made three saves in the first 45 minutes to keep the game scoreless at halftime. She finished the night with six saves on the nine shots on goal by State.

The Gamecocks had two shots in the contest and were able to generate a pair of first half corner kicks.

th minutes to come away with the victory.
