JACKSONVILLE—The Jax State men's golf season begins next month with a trip to Louisiana.
 
Coach Sylas Elliott begins his second season as head coach and released the team's 2025-26 schedule this afternoon.
 
"We are extremely excited about the talent we have coming in and the opportunity we have with our schedule," said Elliott. "Jacksonville State Men's Golf is in a good place and looking to compete at the highest level."
 
The season starts with tournaments the team participated in last year, opening with the Argent Financial Classic at Squire Creek in Choudrant, La. on September 7^th followed by UAB's G-Mac Invitational at Limestone Springs in Oneonta. The final September tournament is the Ironwood Collegiate Classic hosted by East Carolina.
 
In October, the Gamecocks will head to Statesboro, Ga. to play in Georgia Southern's tournament on October 13^th and will head to Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. for the FAU Invitational to wrap up the fall portion of the schedule.
 
The spring portion of the schedule starts on February 23^rd with a trip to the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate at Reflection Bay Golf Club. Jax State will play three tournaments in March starting with the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee on March 15^th, the Austin Peay Intercollegiate on March 23^rd, and the Memphis Intercollegiate on March 30^th.
 
Jax State returns to the Golfweek Spring Challenge at True Blue Golf Club in South Carolina where it had the 36-hole lead last season as its final tournament of the regular season on April 7^th.
 
The Conference USA Championship returns to Texarkana Country Club starting April 27^th.
