Five tournaments into the 2025-26 season, the top-ranked Jax State bowling team has brought home four first-place trophies.

The Gamecocks won the Flyer Classic in Lockport, Ill. for the second season in a row, going a perfect 13-0 and running their season match win streak to 30 in a row and their season record to 56-8.

After Friday's Baker matches, the Gamecocks led the field in total pinfall at 5,387 for a 215.48 average. In traditional play, the Gamecocks totaled 5,236 for a team average of 209.44. Freshman
Gianna Brandolino was third in the field in the individual standings with an average of 225.6. Her best game was a 242 in the second round against Sacred Heart when her team needed it to come away with a three-pin victory.

Kaitlyn Stull was 11
th in the field with a 213.2 average.

During Sunday's bracket play, Jax State was a 4-2 winner in the Baker best of seven against second-seeded Sam Houston, taking a 2-0 lead in the series with 259-222 and 200-195 wins. Sam Houston took the third by the count of 226-170, but Jax State took a 3-1 lead with a 233-191 win. The Bearkats took the match to six with a 228-181 win, but the Gamecocks advanced to the final with a 236-230 win.

In the second round, Jax State was a 4-1 winner over Saint Anslem with scores of 223-138, 180-152, 268-175, 160-163, and 245-185.

In the championship against Vanderbilt, eight strikes helped cover a pair of open frames in a 233-203 win in the first game. Jax State took control of game two with a turkey that was sandwiched by a single-pin spare in the first and a two-pin spare in the fifth. Vanderbilt had just two strikes in the first five frames, but got some momentum in the third on a huge four-pin split pickup. The Gamecocks picked up spares in the seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth for a 203-185 win.

In the third, Jax State struck on their first five frames with Vanderbilt picking up single-pin spares in four of the first five with an open frame. The Gamecocks also struck on five of their final six attempts for a 259-189 win to take a 3-0 lead.

A four-bagger helped Vanderbilt avoid the sweep with a 223-208 victory in the fourth following a power outage in the 10
th frame.

The Gamecocks left the third frame open, but answered with back-to-back strikes as Vanderbilt left the fifth and sixth open. A strike by
Keira Magsam in the ninth after a single-pin pickup from Stull clinched the fifth game in a 197-167. Â
