The Gamecocks won their fourth-straight match to improve to 11-2 on the season with a 4-0 win at Chattanooga on Tuesday.
Jax State scored the point in doubles with a 6-1 win at Line 3 by
Alin Fatu and
Charlie Penman and a 6-3 win by
Timo De Visser and
David Krasner at the top line. It was De Visser and Krasner's first match together and Fatu and Penman improved to 4-2 on the year.
Marko Milosavljevic improved to 4-1 on the year in singles play with a 6-1, 6-2 win at Line 4 to put Jax State up 2-0. Krasner picked up his 10
th singles win of the year to bring his team within a point of clinching after a 6-3, 6-4 win at Line 2. Fatu ended the day with a 6-3, 6-4 win at Line 6 to secure the victory.
Fatu is now 7-0 in singles play with four of those wins coming at Line 6.
Next up for Jax State will be a home match against North Alabama on Friday at 1 p.m.
