DALLAS—Conference USA released its 2026 football schedule Thursday night, setting the slate for the 2026 Jax State season.
The 12-game schedule starts with four non-conference games with the first coming on August 29
th at North Dakota State. The home opener at AmFirst Stadium will take place on Saturday, September 5
th against Eastern Kentucky. This will be the 20
th meeting all-time between the Gamecocks and the Colonels with Jax State leading the all-time series 11-8.
On September 12
th, Jax State will head to Ohio for a rematch of the 2024 Cure Bowl. The non-league schedule ends on September 19
th with the Gamecocks hosting Georgia Southern.
Jax State begins Conference USA play on Thursday, October 1 with FIU to leadoff "Weekday CUSA" at AmFirst Stadium. The Gamecocks then go on a two-game road trip with a rematch of the 2025 CUSA Championship on October 7
th at Kennesaw State, then a trip to New Mexico State on October 21
st coming off a bye week.
The Gamecocks will close the month of October with a Wednesday night game on the 28
th against Missouri State. This will be the first meeting all-time between Jax State and the Bears which joined the league last season.
November begins with a home game against LA Tech on the seventh which is followed by a trip to Western Kentucky where the last three regular season meetings between the two sides have been decided by a field goal in the final minute of regulation.
Jax State will host Sam Houston on November 21
st before heading to Delaware on November 28
th to wrap up the season.
