JACKSONVILLE—The Jax State bowling team remained at the top of the National Tenpin Coaches Association Top 25 which was released Monday afternoon..
The Gamecocks have been at the top of each poll this season, but did so this time as the unanimous No. 1 team, receiving all 37 first-place votes. The team finished the regular season with a 93-9 record and won seven tournaments of the nine they played in.
During the second semester, Jax State went 49-1 with the only loss coming in the championship best of seven match against Wichita State at the Big Red Invitational. Jax State smashed the NCAA record for consecutive wins at 42 and are currently on a 25-match win streak heading into the Conference USA Championship.
Last weekend, the Gamecocks ran away with the USBC Sectional in Smyrna, Tenn. to qualify for their third consecutive Intercollegiate Team Championship. There will also be three individuals in the Intercollegiate Singles Championship field that weekend with
Kaitlyn Stull,
Emma Yoder, and
Gianna Brandolino finishing 1-2-3 last weekend.

th NTCA poll are all from Conference USA, which had a total of 12 of the Top 25.
