DALLAS, Texas - Caleb Johnson was named Conference USA's Hitter of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Caleb Johnson stole seven bases this week to immediately propel himself to second in the conference in stolen bases. Johnson posted a .588 batting average this week, going 10-17 at the dish with four runs scored. Of his 10 hits, four went for extra bases, including three doubles and a home run. Johnson drove in six batters during the week and had two free bases with one walk and one hit by pitch.
