JACKSONVILLE – Jax State's men's tennis returns to the Jax State Tennis Courts Sunday at 10 a.m. to face South Alabama after a pair of road wins. The Gamecocks are fresh off a 4-0 triumph at Alabama State on Friday, March 27.
The match against South Alabama is the men's tennis squad's final home match of the 2026 season.
The Gamecocks (15-2) took the doubles point against Alabama State, then won three-straight singles matches to claim their eighth win in a row.
Timo De Visser clinched the win at Alabama State with a 6-4 first set and a 6-3 second set on singles court five.
South Alabama is 7-8 on the season and plays at Georgia State Saturday before traveling to Jax State for Sunday's match.
In singles, Jax State sits at 62-19 this season.
David Krasner leads the way with an impressive 13-2 record. De Visser is 11-1 this year and
Aman Dahiya is 11-5.
Alin Fatu is 8-1,
Marko Milosavljevic is 7-1,
Charlie Penman is 6-6,
Zach Murphy is 3-1,
Lucius Soller is 2-0, and
Matei Palcau is 1-2, respectively.
Jax State is 28-12 thus far in doubles action. Krasner and Soller both have 10 doubles wins. Krasner is 10-3, while Soller is 10-4. Fatu is 8-2, Penman is 7-2, Murphy and Milosavljevic are 4-2, De Visser is 6-4, Dahiya is 5-5, and Palcau is 2-0.
The best doubles pairing this season has been Fatu and Penman who lead the way with a 6-2 mark.
South Alabama is 38-40 in singles play this season. Juan Accossatto is 7-6, while Braden Hannig is 7-7 to lead the way for the Jaguars. In doubles play, South Alabama is 13-20. Harold van Raemdonck has a team-best 6-5 record in doubles.
Following the match against the Jaguars, Jax State travels to Austin Peay for a match on Saturday, April 4.
