DALLAS—Jax State senior Ryley Heath was selected as the Conference USA Men's Golfer of the Week for his performance at the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate last week.
 
The Decatur native was six-under for the three-day, 54-hole tournament and finished ninth in the field of 69 golfers. After shooting even-par in the first round, Heath was three under in Monday's second round, and posted another round of 69 in the third round.
 
Heath was third in the field in Par 4 scoring at 3.9, finishing three-under on those holes.
 
Next up for the Gamecocks is the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Fla. starting on March 15^th.
