CHATTANOOGA, Tn. – Jax State men's tennis wraps up a seven-match road swing Tuesday at Chattanooga. The Gamecocks are coming off a 4-2 win at Tennessee State Sunday that improved their record to 10-2 on the year.
Against Tennessee State, the Tigers took the doubles point and Taj Hibbert came out victorious against Jax State's
Charlie Penman on singles court one.
David Krasner,
Aman Dahiya,
Marko Milosavljevic, and
Timo De Visser were winners in singles for Jax State including De Visser clinching the win.
On court five, De Visser downed Tennessee State's Alexander Adamec 6-3, 7-5 with the Gamecocks at match-point to help the Gamecocks return to Jacksonville with another mark in the win column.
Jax State is 43-15 this season in singles and 18-11 in doubles. In singles, Krasner leads the way for Jax State with a 9-1 record.
Aman Dahiya is 7-1, De Visser is 7-1,
Alin Fatu is 6-0,
Zach Murphy and Milosavljevic are both 3-1,
Lucius Soller is 2-0, Penman is 4-5, and
Matei Palcau is 1-2.
In doubles, Soller and Murphy are 4-2 together. Meanwhile, Krasner and Milosavljevic are 4-2 as well. Penman and Fatu are 3-2 together, Fatu and Palcau are 1-0, and Fatu and Krasner are 1-0. Dahiya and De Visser are 2-4 when paired up, Soller and Penman are 1-0, Soller and Krasner are 1-1, and Soller and Palcau are 1-0, respectively.
Following the match at Chattanooga, the Gamecocks return to the Jax State Tennis Courts on Friday, March 13, to take on North Alabama at 1 p.m.
