TEXARKANA, Ark.—The Jax State men's golf team will open the postseason starting Monday at Texarkana Country Club in Arkansas.
In 29 rounds this season, the Gamecocks have put together an adjusted scoring average as a team of 289.8 with a win and three top three finishes in 10 tournaments. They are coming off a fourth-place finish at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge where they shot even par for 54 holes.
The win came at the Austin Peay Intercollegiate with a 15-under team score with
Will Drake earning medalist honors at -8 for the week. The freshman has an adjusted scoring average of 72.8 in his 26 rounds this season.

Stanley Campbell and senior
Ryley Heath have been the top scorers this season with Campbell at 71.8 and Heath at 72. Campbell's 103 birdies and five eagles are both most on the team. Heath's next birdie will be his 100
th of the season.
The Gamecocks will be in the second wave of tee times on Monday which start at 8:50 a.m. off of Hole 1 along with Kennesaw State and New Mexico State. There will be 54 holes of stroke play with the top four teams advancing to Thursday's match play to determine a champion.
