KENNESAW, Ga. – Jax State's men's tennis team closes out a historic 2026 regular season with a road match at Kennesaw State on Friday at 12 p.m. central, 1 p.m. eastern.
The Gamecocks' last match resulted in a 4-2 loss at Alabama on Saturday, April 4. In the match at Alabama,
Marko Milosavljevic and
Timo De Visser won their singles matches. On court four, Milosavljevic downed Rohan Hazratwala 6-2, 7-6 (7-4). On court five, De Visser beat Yoshka Sborowsky 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 in a three-set battle.
This season, Jax State has accumulated a 67-23 singles record as team.
David Krasner holds a team-best 13-2 record this season, De Visser is 12-1, and
Aman Dahiya is 12-6. Milosavljevic is 9-1,
Alin Fatu is 8-3,
Charlie Penman is 7-7,
Zach Murphy is 3-1, and
Lucius Soller is 2-0 to round out the other top performers for the squad.
In doubles, Jax State has a 30-14 record as team and are led by Soller who is 11-4. Behind Soller, Krasner follows closely at 10-4, respectively. Other doubles standouts include Fatu at 9-3, Penman at 8-3, Milosavljevic at 5-2, and Murphy at 4-2.
Jax State's best doubles pairing of the year has been Fatu/Penman who are 7-3 when paired together. Milosavljevic/Krasner and Soller/Murphy are tied for second at 4-2.
Kennesaw State is 14-5 on the season and coming off a 4-3 home loss to North Florida on April 2. The Owls are 60-34 in singles and led by Nathan Walters who is 14-3 this season. Xavi Ferrer is 12-4, Dominic Ducariu is 10-4, and Leon Peranovic is 10-5 for their other top singles standouts.
In doubles, the Owls are 23-22 overall and led by Ducariu and Ben Hudson with a 5-5 record.
Following the match at Kennesaw, Jax State heads to the Conference USA Tennis Tournament in Murfreesboro, Tenn., on April 17-19. More information will be available at JaxStateSports.com soon.
