
Karson Bonaparte Named Spring 2026 CUSA Spirit of Service Award Winner

Bonaparte represents Jax State in bi-annual award
DALLAS, Texas – Jax State baseball pitcher Karson Bonaparte has been named a Spring 2026 Conference USA Spirit of Service award winner, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The award honors student-athletes with significant community service endeavors, good academic standing and participation in their sport. The Spirit of Service Award is presented three times throughout the season, with Tuesday's honorees representing beach volleyball, outdoor track and field, softball, women's golf and women's tennis. Recipients are nominated by their institutions.
Bonaparte serves as the vice president for Jax State's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). In his time, he has represented the Gamecocks in the annual Conference USA SAAC meetings in Dallas, along with planning and participating in various SAAC events on campus, Additionally, he has worked with Jacksonville State University's hospitality services, where he has assisted the group during football games and other on-campus events.
On the mound, Bonaparte made two appearances, where he pitched one inning and tallied a strikeout.
