2020: Started in all 19 games played in her fourth year with the Gamecocks...batted .250 with eight runs on 14 hits in 56 at-bats...had a slugging percentage of .375 with five doubles, a triple and 17 RBI…drew eight walks and had an on-base percentage to .373... started one game and made five appearances in the circle, finishing with a 1-0 record...returning to JSU after her senior season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019: Made 32 starts in 36 appearances in her Junior year as a Gamecock... finished the season batting .245 with 8 doubles, 5 home runs, and 19 RBIs... her 14 runs on 24 hits in 98 at-bats helped her slugging percentage at .480 from the year... from the circle she appeared in 8 games with one start and finished with a record of 1-2... had an ERA of 11.45 in 14.2 innings pitched... struck out 10 batters while walking 13... gave up 3 doubles and just 4 home runs.

2018: Appeared in 22 games with 6 starts as a Sophomore...finished the season with an ERA of 3.31 in 80.1 innings pitched...had 40 strikeouts while walking 44 batters...gave up 88 hits with 38 earned runs...surrendered 8 doubles, 3 triples, and just 7 homers…Jimmerson also gained First-Team All-OVC honors, her first after being named to the All-Newcomer team in 2017...In conference play, she batted .310, while pitching a 1.93 ERA and a 4-3 record.

2017: Played in 43 games as a true freshman … finished the year batting .282 with four doubles, one triple, three home runs, 21 RBI and 46 total bases … also threw 6.2 innings and posted da 1-0 record in four appearance and struck out five batters … made her JSU debut as a pinch hitter against Alabama State on Feb 10 … had a two-run single to spark the Gamecocks in their 4-2 win over EIU to send JSU to the finals of the 2017 OVC Conference tournament … against SIUE in the conference tournament championship game, smashed a solo home run to tie the game in the top of the seventh.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for her father, head coach Baron Jimmerson, at Madison Academic Magnet High School in Jackson, Tenn…played four seasons for the Mustangs…a first team all-state performer as a senior and a four-time first team all-district player…as a senior in 2016, hit .609 at the plate and struck out 185 batters in the circle…over her career, struck out 568 batters, while posting a .550 batting average or higher in all four years…named the 2016 Player of the Year and selected to the 2016 Tennessee All-Star Team and the West Tennessee All-Star Team…was the Mustangs’ Team MVP in all four years with the program…a 2016 All-Academic Team selection…led the TN Ballhawks to ASA State.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Alexus Kimshae’ Jimmerson…born on November 5, 1997, in Jackson, Tenn…the daughter of Baron and Kimberly Jimmerson…has one older brother, Tre, and one younger brother, Kobe…plans to major in nursing at JSU.
