Was part of a No. 2 nationally-ranked doubles team in Mexico... In doubles action in 2017, she was a state and regional champion and a sectional runner-up... She ranked No. 1 at the state level in 2015 and No. 13 at the national level in 2016 in singles, and reached the semifinals of the Mexico City National Championship in 2016... She and her partner were runners-up in doubles competition at the Mexico City National Championship the same year... Most recently, Brena was selected to compete in Mexico’s Master Cup in 2016 and 2017, which features the country’s 16 best players.
