High School: Played at Helena High School…the Huskies advanced to three straight postseason appearances in the school’s first three years of existence…HHS was formed in 2014 and by 2016 the baseball program claimed its first Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A State Championship…in three seasons HHS has produced 98 wins, including a 38-6 overall mark in 2016…played for head coach P.J. Guy at HHS…g school teammates with JSU’s Nash Adams…started his prep career Pelham High School as a freshman…made over 40 appearances on the mound in four season on high school level, including 19 appearances as a junior…recorded an earned run average of 0.88 in 31.2 innings pitched as a junior…tossed over 50 innings pitched on the prep level…tallied 68 strikeouts during his high school career…active on the travel ball circuit with the East Cobb Baseball and the East Cobb Astros…played football as a freshman at Pelham High School…an honor student at HHS and inducted in to the National Honor Society at HHS.

Personal: Born on March 2, 1999 in Birmingham, Alabama…the son of Frank Walton and Kimberly Harris…father Frank was a pitcher at UAB from 1983-84 and returned to the program as the Blazers’ pitching coach from 1991-2016…majoring in marketing…has a younger sister, Lexi Walton…named Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw as his favorite athlete and enjoys watching the Dodgers.
