JSU CAREER: 2020: A late inning option out of the bullpen with appearances in seven games in relief…pitched an inning or more in all seven outings, including a season-high three innings against Missouri (Feb. 15)…finished the shortened season with 12.0 innings pitched and collected eight strikeouts…matched his career high in strikeouts with four in just 2.2 innings of work in JSU’s 15-inning, 14-10 win over Kennesaw State (March 10)…named to the 2020 OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2019 Became a viable left handed pitcher out of the bullpen through the year with 29 appearances on the mound, which was second to Austin Brewster’s 31 appearances…made one start in a midweek outing at Georgia on March 6…pitched two scoreless innings in the road game and fanned a pair of Bulldogs…tossed a season-high 3.0 innings on February 26 at UAB…was the winning pitcher in the Saturday contest of opening weekend with one inning of work in a 12-10 win over North Alabama on February 16…posted a season-best four strikeouts against Morehead State in 1.1 innings on April 27…had multiple strikeouts in 11 of his 29 outings to finish the season with 38 strikeouts…notched a save versus Murray State on March 23.
PRIOR TO JSU: Transferred to Wallace State Community College in Hanceville after redshirting in 2017 at the University of Mississippi…made 13 appearances, including one start for WSCC in 2018…posted a 5-0 record on the mound…recorded 39 strikeouts in 40 innings pitched…allowed 24 earned runs…posted a season-high six strikeouts in his first outing of the 2018 season in four innings of work against Motlow State on February 2, 2018.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Corner High School where he was coached by Josh Hoyle … rated as the No. 6 player in the state of Alabama, including the No. 2 left-handed pitcher … ranked a top-300 prospect by Perfect Game … held a 27-12 career record on the mound, including 10-4 as a senior to earn 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game honorable mention All-America and second team Southeast All-Region accolades … two-time 5A Pitcher of the Year, first team all-state honoree and Jefferson County Pitcher of the Year (2015, 2016) … named second team All-USA Tennessee by USA TODAY … Earned a spot on the AL.com Super All-State Team … competed in the 2015 East Coast Professional Showcase … went 10-0 as a junior to earn Perfect Game Underclass All-American honorable mention.
