JSU CAREER: 2020: Saw action out of the bullpen in five games…pitched three full innings on the season…tossed an inning against Gardner-Webb (March 1) and versus Kennesaw State (March 3)…recorded a strikeout in the GWU outing…named to the 2020 OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2019: Made three appearances as a redshirt sophomore…completed four innings and recorded four strikeouts.
2018: Became one of JSU’s midweek starters throughout the season…made seven starts on the mound, including his first start against UAB on February 27 at Regions Field….went 2.2 innings and did not give up a hit…earned his first win in a JSU uniform on March 6 against Kennesaw State after tossing 3.0 innings and registering a pair of strikeouts…went 4.0 innings in his next start at Alabama on April 3, helping Jax State to a 4-0 win over the Crimson Tide…pitched a season high 5.0 innings in his second start of the year versus UAB, mating his season best four strikeouts in posting his second win of the season…made 19 appearances on the season and turned in 38.0 innings of work…finished with 27 strikeouts.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Alabama…played for Richy Brooks at BRHS…was a member of the Wildcat baseball program for six years…teammate of Corley Woods at BRHS…the duo helped BRHS to a 28-9 record in 2016…helped lead BRHS to the second round of the AHSAA Class 6A state playoffs… had a 4-1 record as a senior, pitching 35 innings, while striking out 50 batters with a 1.00 earned run average…a member of the Alex City Outlook’s 2014 Outlook Baseball Team as a sophomore after hitting .320 and a 5-2 record on the mound…also excelled in football for the Wildcats as the placekicker…was named to the Alex City Outlook’s 2015 All-Outlook Football Team…connected on 9-of-14 field goals, including a 44-yard kick…helped BRHS make a run to the semifinals of the 6A state playoffs…the Wildcats finished 12-2 in 2015 under the guidance of Danny Horn.
