2025: Participated in two regular season meet and two postseason meets in his sophomore season. Roper placed 7th at the Georgia Tech Invitational with an 8k time of 24:46.3 and bested that time in the 2025 CUSA Cross Country Championships with a 24:28.6 performance. He competed in the Division I South Region Cross Country Championships and placed 55th. The Spaniard made multiple appearances during the indoor and outdoor track and field season as well, finishing no worse than fifth in any of the six events he competed in, including four first-place finishes.
2024: Competed in five regular season meets and earned three top-ten finishes at the Foothills Invitational, UNA Invitational and Upstate Invite. Roper placed 18th in the 2024 CUSA Cross Country Championships with a 24:38.3 mark and earned a spot at the Division I South Region Cross Country Championships as well.
