JAX STATE CAREER
2025: Competed in four regular season meets and a pair of postseason meets as a freshman. Placed 26th at the Foothills Invitational, along with a 21st place finish at the Georgia Tech XC Invitational. Wynyard put up a 25:23.9 time in the CUSA Cross Country Championship meet and earned an appearance in the Division I South Region Cross Country Championships.
PRIOR TO JAX STATE
Wynyard, one of New Zealand’s top-ranked distance and middle-distance runners, joins Jacksonville State with an impressive national resume. He was the 2024 U20 New Zealand Champion in the 10,000 meters and a 2025 New Zealand Championship finalist in the 800 meters. A multiple-time national finalist across several events, Wynyard brings impressive range and competitive experience to the Gamecocks’ distance squad.
