Prepped for head coach Jacob Kelley at Cherokee County High School in Centre, Ala…a First Team All-State selection as a junior for the Warriors after recording 79 tackles and four interceptions...as a senior played in five games, missing time to injury, but still totaled 50 tackles, three for a loss, and three interceptions for CCHS on defense…on offense, ran for 475 yards and 11 touchdowns and threw for five scores and 300 yards before his injury…returned from his midseason injury in time for the first round of the AHSAA Class 4A State Playoffs, where he was 8-for-13 passing…one of only five players from Alabama selected to play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where he started at safety for the East Team.
