Kurt Benjamin joined the men's basketball staff in 2017. He spent the past four years as a student manager for the Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball program, serving as head manager in his final year. He worked for both head coaches Fred Hoiberg and Steve Prohm, reaching the NCAA tournament four times, including two Sweet 16 appearances to go along with the Cyclones' three Big 12 Tournament Championships.
Benjamin also coordinated video operations, assisted in on-court student-athlete development and served as Assistant Camp Director for both Fred Hoiberg and Steve Prohm Basketball Camps. Among numerous other duties, he also oversaw a staff of 12 student managers.
