A North Carolina native, Vick spent the end of his high school career at Word of God Christian Academy in Raleigh, N.C. Prior to Word of God Christian Academy, Vick played high school basketball at Southern Nash High School, where he averaged 21.0 points per game and 3.1 steals per game in his final season with the Firebirds. Vick is a three-star prospect according to On3, 247sports and ESPN. Vick chose Jax State over offers from Florida, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Pitt and Wake Forest. Vick was originally a part of the 2024 class before reclassifying to become a member of the 2025 class.
