JSU CAREER
2019-20: Saw the floor three times in his debut season with the Gamecocks... made his NCAA debut Dec. 16, 2019 with three minutes off the bench against Evansville... scored his first basket on a layup in the final seconds against Carver College on Dec. 28, 2019 at Pete Mathews Coliseum... recorded a steal, a rebound and a pair of assists.

PRIOR TO JSU
 2018-2019: Spent his first two seasons at Snead State Community College in Boaz, Ala… appeared in 32 games over two seasons, averaging 2.4 points per game… helped the Parsons to a 25-7 record with an appearance in the ACCC Tournament quarterfinals as a sophomore… was a member of the SSCC 2017-18 team that recorded a 25-8 mark and ACCC Championship title… was teammates at Snead State with former Gamecock Jacob Hyde in 2017-18.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-year letterwinner at Geraldine High School in Geraldine, Ala… was named the Sand Mountain Tournament and Dekalb County Tournament’s Most Valuable Player… helped the Bulldogs to a 22-10 record as a junior and 22-10 record as a senior… also lettered in baseball and football… was the Times Journal Football Player of the Week.

Born Jan. 20, 1999 in Fort Payne, Ala… son of Traci Norris and Joey Murphy… has two brothers, Levi and Steven… majoring in Social Studies Education.
