Biography
2011: Participated in all eight meets as a junior, including the OVC Championshps and the NCAA South Regional...Claimed Second Team All-OVC honors after finishing 13th with a season-best time of 18:43.53 in the 5K...Turned in a bronze performance in the JSU/Struts Season Opener with a time of 12:31.11...Also finished third at the Tennessee Tech Invite.
2010: Competed in five meets last season, finished a season-best third at the JSU-hosted Foothills Invitational with a mark of 19:05.01 over the 5K layout...Finished 17th and Jax State's second finisher at the 2010 Ohio Valley Conference Championship...Turned in a 6K time of 22:48.09 at the 2010 NCAA South Regional.
2009: Placed in the top-20 four times, including a season-best 14th at the Tennessee Tech Invitational...Finished 19th in both JSU-hosted meets.
High School: Ran cross country and track for four years at Lake Central High School in Schererville, Ind…tutored under Ron Fredrick and Denise Rush…voted Freshman and Sophomore MVP and was awarded the Sportsmanship Award as a junior and senior…selected to the Indiana All-Stars…an Honor Student and National Honor Society member.
