MONTGOMERY – The Jacksonville State Men's Tennis Team posted a 7-0 win over Alabama State on Thursday to move to 2-0 on the season at the ASU Tennis courts

JSU claimed the doubles point, sweeping all three matches. Scott Robertson and Eduardo Saratt defeated Ian Burt and Denys Alyeksyeyeu at No. 1 and Gustavo Holz and Brian Kenyon won at No. 2 over Roddrick Ivory and Quintero Moore. Chris Duke and Steffen Solomon won by default at No. 3.

Robertson downed Alyeksyeyeu in three sets at No. 1 singles and Saratt won at the No. 2 position over Burt. Holz defeated Ivory at No. 3 and Duke blanked Frazier at No. 4. Solomon took a straight sets victory over Moore at No. 5 and Kenyon won at the No. 6 spot by default.

Jacksonville State returns home schedule to host Shorter at 1:30 p.m. at the JSU Tennis Courts on Thursday.
