JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State men's basketball team continues its three-game home stand Sunday with a 2 p.m. matchup with Samford at Pete Mathews Coliseum.
Sunday is Church Day at Pete Mathews Coliseum. Fans who purchase tickets online in advance can receive a $2 ticket by entering the promo code "church" at checkout. The offer is only valid online and in advance of Sunday's game.
The Gamecocks (5-2) are looking to improve to 3-0 at home against a Samford squad that was victorious in last season's Dec. 4 meeting in Birmingham. The Bulldogs (2-5) are winless on the road this year at 0-4 with a road schedule that includes LSU and Arkansas.
JSU senior Malcolm Drumwright looks to continues his offensive dominance Sunday against a team he scored 13 points against last year at the Pete Hannah Center. He currently leads a Jacksonville State that features three averaging double-digit points per game. Drumwright (13.0) along with Norbertas Giga (11.7) and Jamall Gregory (10.6) have been the driving force to the basket and are each averaging more than 25 minutes played per game.
