DENTON, Texas – The Jacksonville State men's basketball team takes on North Texas on Wednesday in the semifinals of the College Basketball Invitational at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.
The Gamecocks (23-12, 11-7 OVC) and Mean Green (17-17, 8-10 Conference USA) are set to meet for the first time in program history, but head coach Ray Harper is very familiar with North Texas. Harper is 6-1 in games at the Super Pit – including two Conference USA Tournament victories.
The winner of Wednesday's game advances to the CBI Finals – a best-of-three final round that begins March 26. The winner of tonight's game will face either Campbell or San Fransisco for the championship.
