CLARKSVILE, Tenn. – Jacksonville State's softball doubleheader at Austin Peay has been moved up to Friday at 3 p.m. due to the threat of rain on Saturday.
 
The National Weather Service forecast lists a 100 percent chance of rain in Clarksville on Saturday, forcing the Gamecocks (21-17, 9-1 Ohio Valley Conference) and Govs (24-11, 8-2 OVC) to change their plans. It is the only matchup scheduled for JSU this week.
 
The two are battling for position atop the OVC standings and will face off at Cheryl Holt Field.
