RESULTS

JSU men's and women's tennis participated in the Mercer Gridiron Classic this weekend, collecting several good wins.
 
On the women's side, freshman Ella Tuomela won the consolation bracket of the B2 singles draw, while freshman Romane Mosse won the consolation bracket of the B1 singles draw.  
 
Freshmen Zuzana Pavelekova and Ella Tuomela reached the final of the B doubles draw, falling to the team of Clarke/White of UAB 6-2 in the final.
 
On the men's side the team of Daisuke Inagawa and Vanja Dobrnjac reached the final of the B doubles draw, defeating Troy's talented duo of Bernard/Llinares 6-4 in the semifinals. 

Senior Jordi Blanchar won the consolation bracket of the B1 singles draw, while Senior Tom Norwood won the consolation bracket of the A2 singles draw. Both won three consecutive matches across the final two days to complete the event. 
 
The women return to action on October 8th at the Georgia Southern Fall shootout, while the men compete next at the ITA Southern Regionals at Auburn starting October 14th.
