JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State men's tennis team rolled past Spring Hill College on Saturday with a 6-1 win at the JSU Tennis Courts.

The Gamecocks (4-1) allowed the Baders (0-1) to score just one point all afternoon on a three-set loss. Meanwhile, JSU won all three doubles sets and took the other five singles contests in straight sets.

The tandem of
Maj Tomac and
Joaquin Vallejo remained undefeated in doubles play with a 6-3 win at No. 3 to improve to 5-0, and
Guillermo Agost and
Jordi Blanchar won 6-1 over Fergus O'Rourke and Louis Deck at No. 2 to claim the first point of the afternoon.

Adnrea Moro got singles scoring started with a two-set win at No. 5, and
Alexander Vishnevskiy earned his first win in his first start of the season with a pair of 6-0 sets over Chris Mines at No. 6.

Agustin Suarez secured the win for Jax State at No. 4 with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Charles Wallace, and
Jordi Blanchar tacked on a fifth point in his fourth-straight win of the year.

Guillermo Agost improved his record to 3-2 with a victory at No. 1 over Cedric Nitz, while the final match of the day went to SHC's Fergus O'Rourke in a three-set win over
Thomas Norwood.

Sunday's match against Nicholls State was canceled earlier in the week, making JSU's next match Wednesday, Feb. 24 against Chattanooga. First serve is set for noon at the JSU Tennis Courts.
