JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – The Jacksonville State Men's Basketball team gears up for a doubleheader with the Gamecock women on Monday for the final non-conference game of the regular season slate. Jax State is set to take on Fort Valley State at 7 p.m. in The Pete.

Gamecocks Fry Colonels in Kentucky
Jax State scored a season-high 58 second half points on the way to knocking off its former Conference mate on Dec. 21 at Eastern Kentucky. Five Gamecocks finished with double-digit points, including Jaron Pierre Jr. who led the way with 22. The Gamecocks shot 50 percent from three on 24 attempts, while holding the Colonels to a 7-of-30 margin from three.

Jax State and Fort Valley State have met just four times previous, with all four meetings resulting in Jax State victories. All four meetings between the Gamecocks and Wildcats date between 2013 and 2023.
