De Visser Signs With Jax State

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State men's tennis team and head coach Trey Morris announced the signing of Timo De Visser on Tuesday.

De Visser will be a freshman in the fall of 2024. De Visser hails from The Hague, Netherlands and has a younger brother, Sep, who will be a member of the University of New Orleans tennis team in the fall of 2024.

The 6-foot-4-inch Netherlands product was the No. 9 ranked junior in his country. De Visser also has a career high of No. 1,655 in the ITF Pro rankings. He also was runner-up in the 18U Nationals in his country in doubles play.

De Visser was a member of Leimonias and Burgersdijk tennis clubs from 2014-2024. He began playing tennis at the age of 4-years-old.

"Timo is an absolute work horse that also happens to be 6'4+ and has a live arm," Morris said. "He is one of those guys who just seems to be getting better and better everyday. We cannot wait to begin work with Timo here in the 'Ville."
