Jax State will begin the 2025-26 bowling season with a trip to Sruthers, Ohio for the Youngstown State Chelsea Gilliam Penguin Classic at Holiday Bowl.

The Gamecocks return five players from last year's team which finished as the NCAA runner-up and the US Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Champion. Sophomore
Erin Klemencic earned Freshman of the Year honors and was a First-Team All-American during her first season at Jax State. The Powder Springs, Ga. native was also the Intercollegiate Singles Champion.

Annalise OBryant also earned First-Team All-American honors in her first year with the program. She posted a 216.1 Baker average and a 211 traditional average.

On Friday, Jax State will play five Baker matches beginning at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time. Saturday will consist of five traditional games starting at 9:25 a.m. Eastern. Placement matches in a best-of-seven Baker format will begin at 8:25 a.m. Eastern on Sunday.

The field is loaded with the top-ranked Gamecocks on the same side of the draw as No. 4 Youngstown State, and No. 6 Arkansas State. Third-ranked Vanderbilt is also in the field.
