TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Jax State Men's Cross Country team will send some participants to this weekend's Crimson Tide Invitational to participate in the long distance track events. The Gamecock men have been participating in a few of the Jax State Track & Field events already this season.

Crimson Tide Invitational
The Crimson Tide Invitational will be held from April 11-12 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. by the University of Alabama this weekend. Despite the cross country season having ended in November, it will not be the first action this Spring for the Gamecocks, with the team having traveled and participated in events with the Track & Field program this season.
Gamecock Participants
The Gamecocks will bring 10 individuals to Tuscaloosa to run in this week's 5000m meter race. The race will begin at 9:20 PM and features the likes of
Dennis Kipkurui,
Mark Roper,
Jack Lowe,
Rodrigo Fraga,
Juan Camacho Tabuenca,
Tanner Rice,
Kaden Harris, J.R. Proctor,
Blake Graham and
Drew Cook. Kipkurui, Lowe and Roper each earned All-CUSA honors during the CUSA Cross Country Championships last Fall.
Fall Recap
The Jax State men took home three different team wins, at the Foothills Invitational, UNA Invitational and Upstate Invitational, on the way to earning its first in-season USTFCCCA poll ranking in program history. The Gamecocks also placed third at the Conference USA Championship and 13th NCAA South Regional in Tallahassee, both setting marks that had not been reached prior to the 2024 campaign.
