
Five Gamecocks Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

JACKSONVILLE - Five Softball Gamecocks earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Honors on Tuesday. Kat Carter, Emma Elrod, Morgan Nowakowski, Amber Reed and Jordan Eslinger were among those honors.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Nowakowski was named to the CUSA All-Academic team earlier this season while both Elrod and Carter earned All-Conference nods for their outstanding seasons.
Elrod was named as a finalist for CSC Academic All-America, advancing to a national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.
