JACKSONVILLE—The 2025-26 Jax State women's golf season begins on Monday at Red Sky Ranch and Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo.
The Gamecocks will be among 20 teams participating in the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, a 54-hole event over the course of three days to take on the resort's Fazio Course.
Nearly half of the field finished in the top 68 in last year's final Clippd ranking, highlighted by eighth-ranked USC, 12
th-ranked LSU, No. 19 Arizona, and No. 21 Kansas.
The opening weekend lineup features four returning players from last season and freshman
Julie Kleppe. Among the returners is
Emilie Clausen who was limited to just 12 total rounds last year to injury but was able to tally 27 birdies in those five tournaments.
Rebekka Stutley,
Lara El Chaib, and
Rachel Camp all earned All-Conference USA honors last season with Stutley earning Conference USA Freshman of the Year honors and was a second-team all-league selection. Stutley was 11
th at the conference championship meet and had four rounds at or under par.
El Chaib had four Top 10s as a freshman, including taking bronze at the conference championship and led the team with the lowest bogey percentage at 21.5%. Camp also earned third-team all-conference honors after playing all 34 rounds during her sophomore year with four Top 15 finishes.
The course is a Par 72 that merges spectacular vistas of Vail's Back Bowls with a variety of terrain to gratify players of all skill levels. Players will work through open sage covered hills, dense aspen forest and around a highland lake.
