ROME, Ga. – Jax State men's tennis opens the season Tuesday at Berry College. The first match of the season is set for a 10 a.m. central start at Rome Tennis Center at Berry College.
The men's tennis squad is loaded with returning talent. All four Gamecocks who received All-CUSA Awards thanks to their efforts in 2025 are back in 2026.
Marko Milosavljevic was named to the All-CUSA Singles First Team,
David Krasner was named to the All-CUSA Singles Team and tabbed as the CUSA Newcomer of the Year, and
Zach Murphy and
Lucius Soller were named to the All-CUSA Doubles Second Team.
Milosavljevic went 11-4 singles record in 2025, while Krasner posted a 12-4 mark last season. Murphy and Soller had a team-best 13-3 doubles record after starting the season 8-0 and earning the CUSA Doubles Team of the Week on March 4, 2025.
Aman Dahiya,
Alin Fatu,
Matei Palcau,
Charlie Penman, and
Timo De Visser also all return for the Gamecocks.
Brayden Helms is the lone newcomer to the team after playing a season at Wallace State-Hanceville.
Jax State is coming off a 12-7 season, including a perfect 7-0 home record in 2025. Meanwhile, Berry is coming off a 7-12 season last year.
Following the match at Berry, Jax State faces Mississippi College in their home opener on Saturday at 10 a.m. The Gamecocks were originally scheduled to face Austin Peay on Jan. 24, but due to winter weather impacts the match was rescheduled to March 24.
