Jax State struggled in their first tournament following their first win of the season, taking 11
th at the Memphis Intercollegiate.
The Gamecocks were in the mix after 18 holes with a +12 round of 300, but posted 22-over rounds in each of the next two rounds.
Will Drake was the highest finisher on the roster in a tie for 20
th at seven-over. Following an even-par start, Drake had a two-over round of 74 and a five-over round of 77.
Ryley Heath and
Stanley Campbell tied for 51
st with a total of +16. Heath posted rounds of 75, 76, and 81. Campbell posted totals of 74, 80, and 78.
Ben Shedd was 57
th with a +20 total with rounds of 81, 80, and 75.
Tyler Neidel rounded out the lineup at +25 in 63
rd place with rounds of 79, 82, and 80.
The Gamecocks will return to action on April 7
th at the Golfweek Spring Challenge at True Blue Golf Course in Pawley's Island, S.C.
