
Men's Tennis Wins Third Straight At Tennessee State

NASHVILLE, Tn. – Timo De Visser clinched Jax State's third win in a row over Tennessee State Sunday on the road. The Gamecocks earned a 4-2 triumph over the Tigers.
Early in the match, Tennessee State took the doubles point. On court one, David Krasner and Marko Milosavljevic fell 6-3 to Taj Hibbert and Mete Koseoglu. On court three, Charlie Penman and Alin Fatu fell 6-4 to Alexander Adamec and James Adler Germinal.
On court two, Timo De Visser and Lucius Soller were trailing 5-3 to Nicholas Adamec and Tatenda Mutetwa. The match was unfinished as Tennessee State took the doubles point.
The only other win for the Tigers came on singles court one. Charlie Penman was defeated 6-1, 6-3 by Hibbert. On court two, Krasner won a three-set battle against Germinal. Krasner won the first set 6-4, then Germinal responded with a 6-3 second set win. In the decisive third set, Krasner earned a 6-2 win to take the match.
On court three, Dahiya won a tight first match 7-6 over Koseoglu. Dahiya cruised to a 6-1 second set victory. Milosavljevic broke the 2-2 tie with his win on court four against Bogelin. Milosavljevic won 6-4, 6-1 to give the Gamecocks match point.
De Visser won 6-3 in the first set against Alexander Adamec on court five. De Visser clinched the match victory with his 7-5 triumph in the second set. Fatu and Nicholas Adamec went unfinished on court six. Fatu lost the first set 6-4, won the second 6-1, and was leading 1-0 in the third when the match was abandoned.
