Softball Selected to Tallahassee Regional

JACKSONVILLE—Jax State will head to the campus of Florida State University for the Tallahassee Regional of the 2026 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The bracket was released on ESPN2 Sunday night.

This is the 10th NCAA Regional appearance in program history, and the Gamecocks are headed to Tallahassee for the third consecutive time.

The Gamecocks will take on UCF on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Central Time. The other two teams in the double-elimination tournament are the No. 9 national seed Florida State and Stetson. The winner of the Tallahassee Regional will face the winner of the Los Angeles Regional hosted by UCLA.

Jax State earned an automatic bid to the field of 64 teams by winning the Conference USA Championship on Saturday with a 7-4 win over Liberty.
